The Three Compasses Public House

Located in the quaint village of Hornsey, London, is the local favourite pub The Three Compasses. The owners of this establishment sought to create a brand identity that would pay homage to the spirit of exploration and adventure, reflecting the pub’s name and capturing the imagination of its patrons. Inspiration was derived from the rich history of global adventurers and the iconic tools they used, such as compasses. The aim was to create an identity that balanced the allure of discovery with a modern and welcoming ambiance.

Throughout the pub, exploration pictures and photos were strategically placed on the walls. These visuals depicted scenes from famous expeditions, showcasing the courage and determination of explorers from around the world. To further reinforce the brand identity, the logos were stenciled onto glass and tiles on the walls. This technique added a touch of uniqueness and craftsmanship, giving a nod to the historical context of exploration.
