The Bedford Swan Hotel

Discerning re-design of the 120 room iconic Bedford hotel to maximise space within a listed building and improve customer journey through functionality, seamless service and a deep understanding of their core demographic. Originally built by the Duke of Bedford in 1794 our aim was to blend the historical charm of The Swan Hotel with modern comforts, thoughtful space planning and attention to detail.

We ensured efficient space planning to maximise comfort for guests, arranging seating areas in a way that allows for ease of movement while maintaining a cosy and intimate feel.

A colour palette was created that is warm with an inviting atmosphere. A selection of neutral tones like creams and warm greys are used as base colours, accentuated with rich colours like earthy greens, or warm burgundies to add depth and elegance to the space. Soft Textures and Fabrics are integrated to add a luxurious yet informal feel.

Updated to be a contemporary heritage luxury hotel, it is a place to stay for the modern traveller, a home away from home.
