Pen & Cob Brasserie

Located on the picturesque River Ouse The Pen & Cob Brasserie is a comfortable friendly neighbourhood establishment at the heart of Bedford. YesFoundry had the pleasure of creating a captivating and inviting interior design for The Pen & Cob Brasserie with the aim to embrace the heritage setting while maximising natural light and creating a warm and welcoming ambiance. To enhance the natural light and create an airy atmosphere, we opted for a light and neutral colour palette along side a set of sharp vibrant greens.

To further bring the outdoors in, we incorporated natural elements and accessories inspired by the riverside setting. This includes botanical flora and fauna, vintage fish artworks and decorative fabrics to add a touch of organic beauty and reinforce the connection to the surrounding environment.

Whilst the design focused on aesthetics and ambiance, we ensured that functionality was not compromised. The layout was carefully planned to optimise space utilisation and facilitate smooth traffic flow.
