Hotel Cromwell
StevenageHoused within a 356-year-old building that was originally constructed by an associate of Oliver Cromwell, one of the most influential figures in British history, The Cromwell Hotel carries a rich legacy and a sense of grandeur. The owners of The Cromwell sought to create a brand identity that would honor the heritage and history of the building, while evoking a sense of British elegance and sophistication.
We drew inspiration from heraldry, a quintessentially British symbol of honor and history. Royal blues, a color associated with royalty, and gold browns, reminiscent of ancient artifacts, were carefully chosen to form the primary color palette. These regal hues evoked a sense of prestige and elegance, reflecting the hotel’s rich history.
To capture the grandeur and authenticity of The Cromwell, hand-painted signage was implemented throughout the hotel. These hand-painted signs added a sense of charm, elevating the overall experience for guests.
