Anna’s Tearoom
BedfordAnna’s Tearoom in Bedford holds a significant historical connection to the origins of afternoon tea during Queen Victoria’s reign. Drawing inspiration from the 7th Duchess of Bedford, Anna Maria Stanhope, and the tea tradition, we have created an interior design that blends traditional and modern elements.
To celebrate the tearoom’s association with afternoon tea, tea-related art and decor is displayed throughout the space along with vintage teapots and framed artwork depicting scenes from tea culture.
To achieve a harmonious blend of traditional and modern decor we combined classic furniture pieces with contemporary accents. Elaborate cornicing was installed along the ceiling. Upholstered seating covered with velvet fabrics in soft pastel colors play a key role in the tearoom’s design, adding a luxurious touch and a comfortable seating experience for guests.
Throughout the design process, our aim was to pay attention to details that evoke a sense of tradition and nostalgia while ensuring the tearoom remains comfortable and inviting for guests.
